Sharise Nance is a nationally recognized Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Trauma Specialist, and Award-Winning Author with 25+ years of experience advancing mental health and workplace wellness. As CEO and Co-Founder of the S.W.A.G. Alliance Foundation, she leads the mission to celebrate, support, and elevate social workers through year-round recognition, advocacy, and professional development. Sharise is also the creator of the S.W.A.G. Awards and founder of Vitamin C Healing, LLC, where she helps organizations move from burnout to balance. Known as the “Compassion Fatigue Lady,” she is a trusted voice in leadership burnout and trauma-informed care.

William P. Nance
COO & Co-Founder, S.W.A.G. Alliance Foundation
William P. Nance brings over 30 years of experience in the film industry and more than a decade in customer service and operations. As COO and Co-Founder of the S.W.A.G. Alliance Foundation, he plays a key role in advancing the organization’s mission to uplift and recognize social workers through events, advocacy, and community engagement. With a strong background in logistics, planning, and creative production, William helps ensure the seamless execution of SWAG initiatives. He is also the proud husband and business partner of Sharise Nance.

Cassandra M. Williams
Board Secretary, S.W.A.G. Alliance Foundation
Cassandra M. Williams brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit administration and development, along with a decade of expertise in business startup and expansion. She currently serves as the Executive Director of The King's Community Center and as Community Relations Manager for the City of Pittsburgh under Council President R. Daniel Lavelle (District 6). Cassandra holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is deeply committed to uplifting communities through strategic leadership and collaboration

Peter Fleming
Treasurer, S.W.A.G. Alliance Foundation
With over 20 years of experience in public accounting and the private sector, Peter serves as a Co-Managing Partner at Wilke & Associates, where he provides strategic financial leadership and oversees complex audit, forensic accounting, and consulting engagements. As Treasurer of the S.W.A.G. Alliance Foundation, Peter brings his financial expertise to support the organization’s mission of celebrating and empowering social workers through sound fiscal management and sustainability.
Peter has held fractional CFO roles for multiple companies, including SDLC Partners, which was acquired in 2021 at a 10x EBITDA valuation. His specialties include startup financing, regulatory compliance, internal controls, IRS examinations, and M&A support. He is a licensed auditor in multiple states and an active member of the ACFE, AICPA, and PICPA.
In addition to his professional leadership, Peter is committed to community service, serving as Treasurer for organizations like Mainstay Life Services and Church Army USA, and as Chair of the Financial Management Team at The Bible Chapel.

Kesa Ahomana, MSW
Board Member, SWAG Alliance Foundation
Kesa Ahomana, MSW, is the Director of Development at Women for a Healthy Environment, a nonprofit advancing environmental health and equity through advocacy and community-based programs. With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit development, community engagement, and direct service, Kesa has worked in domestic violence, intellectual disability supports, job coaching, and inpatient psychiatric care. She holds a master’s in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with minors in human relations and gender, women’s, and sexuality studies, from the University of Iowa. In addition to her professional role, she teaches religious education at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Pittsburgh, skates with Steel City Roller Derby, and finds joy exploring the outdoors across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

De'netta Benjamin, LCSW
Board Member, SWAG Alliance Foundation
De’netta Benjamin-Miller, LCSW joined Sojourner House and Sojourner House MOMS, Inc. as Executive Director in October 2019. She has served as a Behavioral Health Therapist for more than 23 years and is a trained EMDR therapist. With over 13 years of program management experience, she also owns and operates Focus on Life Counseling Center, LLC, where she has provided free mental health services to the community. Deeply motivated to help others step into their healing, Mrs. Benjamin-Miller has dedicated her career to advancing behavioral health and wellness.
An alumna of Central State University, Mrs. Benjamin-Miller went on to earn her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburgh, further solidifying her commitment to the field of social work. In 2023, she expanded her expertise by earning a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certificate from eCornell University.
Her leadership and impact have been widely recognized. In 2023, Mrs. Benjamin-Miller was honored with the AALP Bernadette Turner Award, named one of City & State PA’s 100 Women of Power and Diversity, and recognized as a Pittsburgh Business Times “Women of Influence” honoree. She also received the 2024 Passion Meets the Road – Road Runner Award. Beyond her professional and community roles, she proudly serves as a board member of T.H.A.W. (Transforming the Health of African American Women).

Dr. Darla Timbo, Psy.D., LPC

Dr. Darla Timbo, Psy.D., LPC, is a leading holistic psychologist and licensed therapist, redefining the path to wellness through integrative mental health care. With 20 years of experience, she builds and empowers businesses & communities of color by blending traditional therapeutic approaches with holistic practices to support healing and transformation.
Dr. Timbo is the owner of Atlas Counseling Services, LLC, where she is committed to serving underrepresented populations with culturally responsive care. She also serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, Counseling, & Art Therapy at Penn West University – California Campus, where she teaches/mentors the next generation of mental health professionals.
Passionate about community-based healing, Dr. Timbo is a co-founder of Can We Talk?, a mental health support group for Black women aged 50 and older, and serves as the clinical director for Artist Talk Mental Health, a Pittsburgh-based initiative supporting artists' development & emotional wellness.
Beyond the therapy room and classroom, Dr. Timbo is also a wellness entrepreneur. She and her husband co-own 24 Carrot Juice, a juice and smoothie bar that reflects her belief in the mind-body connection and the importance of nourishment in overall well-being.
Her research interests include multiculturalism, diversity in clinical practice, Black clients' engagement with mental health treatment, and therapeutic outcomes in counseling settings.
